• Responsible for the effective administration, implementation, management and coordination of all safety, health and environmental related policies, standards, procedures, systems and statutory requirements in the Hospital
• Ensure all Hospital activities are carried out in accordance with established safety standards, procedures, rules and regulations as well as in compliance with statutory requirements and Hospital's policy
• Ensure that there are through effective risk assessment and control measurements, safe operating procedures, audit and inspection, regular monitoring, follow-up enforcement and training
• Ensure the implementation of systematic hazard management system and programs encompassing management of risk, hazard, noise, health and etc, to create a safe workplace through hazard identification, risk controls, review of effectiveness of such controls and effective consultative and training activities and initiatives
• To develop, supervise and execute occupational safety programs and activities in order to promote safety awareness among the employees
• To liaise and coordinate with regulatory parties pertaining to safety, health and environment enforcement
• To prepare and review Emergency Response Plan annually
• To carry out any duties as and when required by the Management 

JOB REQUIREMENTS - 

• Candidate must at least has Diploma/Post Graduate Certificate/Degree in Occupational Health, recognized by DOSH
• A minimum of at least 2 years of working in related field
• Experienced and knowledgeable on industrial hazards, local legislation and process of incident and illness reporting
• Have a good knowledge of in country legal requirements related to Occupational Health including DOSH
• Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to commmunicate
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills as well as the ability to work independently
