Job details
• To formulate and deliver an individual occupational therapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of treatment skills manual occupational therapy technique, patient education, exercise classes, electrotherapy technique and other alternative options.
• To evaluate patient progress, reassess and alter treatment programmes if required.
• To manage clinical risk within own patient case load.
• To work within the centers clinical guidelines and monitor own quality of practice as appropriate.
• To be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with standards of practice in the patients document policy.
