About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef (National Talent) at Jumeirah Al Naseem . The main duties include: Assist the Sous Chef in supervising kitchen staff and maintaining standards. Help plan menus, create recipes, and attend meetings with the Executive Sous Chef. Write product specifications and standard recipes for system and material management. Plan staff rosters, monitor adjustments, and manage overtime, holidays, and absenteeism. Liaise with the Chief Steward to ensure cleanliness and smooth operations. Coordinate training, motivate the team, cook as needed, and uphold quality standards. About You The ideal candidate will have: UAE National status as per government requirements. Two years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury property or standalone/branded restaurant. Diploma in Catering; Health & Safety certification preferred. Fluent English skills, both oral and written. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera PMS (Cloud), and Hot So S.
