Join us for a Journey of Innovation and Excellence Job Title : Team Lead - Naval Architect Job Code : OTS/C021 Job Location : Sharjah, UAE Job Description : ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team ofnaval architects and junior engineers. 2. Allocate tasks and monitor progressto ensure timely delivery of project milestones. 3. Conduct technical reviews and qualitychecks on work produced by the team. 4. Plan and coordinate navalarchitecture activities within project. 5. Prepare and manage schedules,budgets, and resource allocation related to naval architecture scope. 6. Ensure all deliverables meet clientrequirements and industry standards. 7. Oversee and contribute to hull formdesign, stability calculations, weight estimations and different types ofhydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations. 8. Perform basic structural calculationand scantling calculations in accordance with Class/IMO regulations. 9. Approve GA drawings, midshipsections, and structural arrangements. 10. Ensure designs comply withclassification society rules (e.g., DNV, ABS, and BV) and internationalmaritime regulations. 11. Review and finalize technicaldocumentation including design reports, analysis summaries, and calculationsheets. 12. Act as the primary technical point ofcontact for naval architectural aspects. 13. Conduct design presentations andreviews with clients and stakeholders. 14. Stay updated with latest industrydevelopments, tools, and regulations. 15. Promote the use of digital tools suchas CFD, FEA, and 3D modelling in design processes. DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: -1. Master’s Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or related specialization (Is an addedadvantage). 2. Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech)in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering froma recognized university (Mandatory). . 3. 8 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in naval architecture design andengineering. 4. Minimum 2 to 4 years ofexperience in a leadership or team lead role , managing a group of navalarchitects or design engineers. 5. Hands-on experiencein: a. Ship or offshore structure design (FPSO, Jack-up, Barges, etc.) b. Stability analysis, hydrostatics, hydrodynamics c. Structural calculations and Class rule compliance (DNV, ABS, BV, LRS,etc.) d. Weight estimation and load analysis e. Preparation and review of design documentation and technical reports. DESIRED SKILLS: -1. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Rhino,MAXSURF, GHS, MOSES, Orca3D, Ship Constructor, ANSYS, Solid Works (orequivalent)2. Familiarity with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL,IACS, and other regulatory frameworks.Excellent communication andleadership skills. 3. Client-facing experience and abilityto handle design reviews and technical meetings. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solvingabilities. 5.
