About the Role: The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and organizing company documents, ensuring proper version control, and facilitating efficient retrieval of information as needed and assisting with the coordination of document workflow between Business Units/Departments, as required. The incumbent in this role ensures that documents are accurately filed, easily accessible, and compliant with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all documentation requirements, ensuring efficient coordination and transfer of documents across Business Units and Departments. Establish and manage a comprehensive documentation system in alignment with corporate standards and guidelines. Implement and oversee documentation control processes, including archiving, indexing, and appropriate destruction of documents, as outlined in the documentation policy. Safeguard important and confidential documents by maintaining secure storage systems and backup repositories for timely access and future use. Support the integration of document quality standards, compliance requirements, and audit-ready measures into documentation procedures. Collaborate with the reporting manager to define clear performance objectives at the beginning of the year and work diligently to achieve them. Take ownership of personal and professional development by identifying learning needs and actively pursuing growth opportunities beyond traditional training programs. Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging trends, and professional advancements to continually enhance document management practices. Required skills & Qualifications: Strong document management skills ensuring organization, accessibility, and compliance. Excellent communication for effective coordination across teams.
