AWS Technical Account Manager (TAM), ES - NZ Join AWS as we invest NZ$7.5 billion in New Zealand over the next 15 years. As an AWS Technical Account Manager, you will provide architectural and operational guidance to New Zealand's largest and fastest-growing customers to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS. Key job responsibilities Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity. Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges. Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using your technical acumen and customer obsession. Consult with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executives. Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers. Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning. Offer post-sales, consultative expertise as part of a wider Enterprise Support team. Solve a variety of problems across different customers migrating workloads to the cloud. Uplift customer capabilities through workshops, brown bag sessions, etc. As we continue to expand rapidly in NZ, you'll have opportunities to develop your technical, consulting, and leadership skills, work with talented cloud technologists, and gain AWS certifications. Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in at least two of the following: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, Dev Ops, big data and analytics, security, applications development in distributed systems. Bachelor's degree. Preferred qualifications Experience with AWS services or other cloud platforms. Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing environments.
