We manufacture, operate, and maintain next-generation autonomous capabilities for air, land, and sea, operating in demanding environments. Headquartered in the UAE, we are committed to advancing the region’s technological edge in defense innovation. The Role We are seeking a Project Manager – Systems Integration Bench to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced integration benches and labs that replicate UAV systems for verification, validation, and testing purposes. This critical role will bridge the gap between engineering design and full-system testing, ensuring our platforms undergo rigorous Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) evaluations. The role requires strong systems engineering know-how, project leadership skills, and deep technical insight into avionics, communications, propulsion, and mission systems. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for integration bench projects. Lead cross-functional teams in delivering modular, scalable benches simulating UAV subsystems. Apply structured PM practices aligned with milestone gates such as PDR, CDR, and TRR. Design & Development Oversight Direct the design and implementation of benches supporting avionics, propulsion, RF systems, and ground interfaces. Oversee real hardware integration, simulation tools, and signal conditioning systems. Ensure benches are modular, maintainable, and aligned with evolving platform requirements. Translate UAV architecture and ICDs into integration bench specifications. Ensure compatibility with flight control, mission software, and communication protocols (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, CAN). Lead bench validation through HIL/SIL and closed-loop simulations. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with software, avionics, mechanical, and test engineering teams to define integration coverage. Ensure benches accurately reflect platform configurations for real-time troubleshooting and testing. Partner with cybersecurity, compliance, and safety teams for regulatory alignment. Manage relationships with vendors for off-the-shelf and custom bench components. Organize Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT). Deliver progress reports, risk analyses, and technical documentation to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics (REQUIRED) Master’s Degree in Systems Integration, Engineering Management, or related field (PREFERRED) Experience 8–10 years of experience in aerospace or defense engineering At least 3–5 years managing systems integration labs, HIL/SIL benches, or test environments UAV or military-grade platform experience is a strong advantage Technical Tools Simulation/Test: NI Lab VIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, d SPACE, RT-LAB, Vector Systems Engineering: DOORS, Polarion, version control (Git/SVN), configuration management Protocols: MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, CAN, Ethernet Electrical/Hardware: Harnessing, signal conditioning, interface board design Ideal Attributes Strong leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination Excellent communication with both engineering teams and executive stakeholders Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and compliance in lab environments Strategic thinker with an R&D mindset focused on scalable and adaptable systems Able to manage complex, concurrent projects in a high-tech defense environment Why Join ADASI At ADASI, you'll work with some of the brightest minds in the defense and aerospace industry.
