Souq.com for E-Commerce LLC The RME supervisor plays a vital role in enhancing customer experience by leading and managing external contractors, handling emergencies, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines. The role involves developing plans to achieve departmental engineering goals. The RME supervisor's schedule is shift-based within the fulfillment center. Responsibilities include leading, developing, and coaching the team; managing performance; overseeing reactive and proactive maintenance of operational equipment and infrastructure; and impacting site productivity and operational success. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and mentor the team to ensure safety, standards, and efficiency. Possess expertise in critical MHE and OEM assets, with knowledge of new asset integration. Handle troubleshooting for base building systems such as electrical distribution, HVAC, BMS, and plumbing. Collaborate with the team and network to leverage technical expertise and develop solutions. Manage breakdowns, incidents, and stakeholder conflicts during shifts. Support budget management, spare parts, purchase, and capital projects related to critical equipment. Maintain Asset Performance Management (APM) metrics and KPIs. Assist in safety and statutory compliance programs with the Safety department and leadership. Conduct critical equipment audits and site health assessments. Develop maintenance standards, documentation, and practices for critical assets. Implement network standards and preventative maintenance to ensure high equipment availability. Organize training for technical team coverage during shifts. Support local and MENA-level projects as assigned. Demonstrate supervisory engineering experience, including managing automated equipment. Adhere to health and safety standards and develop vendor maintenance contracts. Manage maintenance teams, set goals, organize staff planning, and ensure safety and cleanliness. A Day in the Life Monitor and respond to customer requests via trouble ticketing, demonstrating customer obsession. Ensure quality service from vendors and verify SLA adherence. Supervise contractor refurbishments and upgrades. Track MHE performance and manage technicians to reduce downtime. Conduct site walks to ensure readiness and safety. About the Team The RME team manages building engineering, facilities, technical services, and soft services to address daily issues and projects. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or automation engineering or related field. 3+ years experience with CMMS, data analysis, and asset management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic project management, CAD software. High school diploma or equivalent. Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays. Knowledge of MHS, mechanical, electrical, automation, controls, robotics systems. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years as maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial or distribution settings.
