Job Summary: Manager – To lead and manage CNC Machining and Surface Treatment production operations, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality output of components. This role is accountable for achieving production targets, optimizing machine utilization, ensuring process compliance, and driving continuous improvement across both areas. Key Accountabilities: Work to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet CNC production and surface treatment output while meeting delivery, quality, and safety requirements. Ensure that team members follow defined procedures and comply with quality standards and process control requirements. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational work processes relevant to CNC production and surface treatment, including chemical handling, coating specifications, and surface preparation. Plan and organize CNC machine loading, job routing, and surface treatment batches, assess project timelines and resource needs accordingly. Oversee production performance and re-negotiate timescales or replenishment schedules with planning and procurement teams. Manage tooling and consumables ordering using MRP systems to ensure uninterrupted production while maintaining appropriate safety stock Supervise and motivate operators, technicians, and junior staff to improve throughput and foster a high-performing team culture. Monitor tool and equipment life cycles to ensure machining performance and surface finishing meet expected specifications and productivity targets Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment within CNC and surface treatment processes. Provide hands-on technical support and guidance, including tooling selection, machining parameters, and surface treatment techniques, to optimize cost and quality. Reactively support and resolve issues related to tool stock, production stoppages, or surface treatment process deviations. Experience & Education Qualifications: Expertise: Minimum: 8–10 years in a manufacturing or production environment, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role overseeing production operations, resource planning, team leadership, and process improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and high-quality output. Preferred: Minimum 3-5 years experience in production environment. Minimum: Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
