We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Senior BIM/CAD Specialist - Landscape Dubai, UAE Parsons is looking for a talented Senior BIM/CAD Specialist - Landscape to join our team! In this role, you will perform basic to moderately difficult design/drafting assignments requiring a working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques. What You'll Be Doing: Provide frontline project-specific support to design teams. Create landscape BIM models and drawings within Revit/Civil 3D to meet client requirements from LOD 100-LOD 350. Experience in clash detection using Navisworks/Revizto. Prepare landscape drawings, including general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, and details, from rough sketches or general engineering information according to established standards. Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries, continually improving platform efficiency. Ensure compliance with codes and company policies using technical manuals and directives. Familiarity with standards and codes such as ISO 19650, BS 1192, etc. Compile data and perform calculations for landscape drawings. Read orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and manufacturer drawings. Provide training for CAD, Revit, and Civil 3D users. Assist in creating and implementing CAD/BIM standards across the firm. Perform other related responsibilities as needed. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning, or Urban Design from an accredited institution. At least five (5) years of BIM/CAD design experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably landscape projects. Proficiency in Autodesk products such as Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, with strong BIM/CAD process knowledge. Experience in BIM/CAD instruction and training. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good communication skills. Strong computer skills and experience with design software.
