United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Product Category Analyst provides analytical and coordination support to the Procurement team by examining product consumption patterns, supplier performance, and pricing trends across the group’s portfolio of medical consumables and Med Tech devices. The role supports the development of cost-effective procurement strategies, standardization initiatives, and competitive bidding processes. Working in collaboration with Finance, Clinical, and Supply Chain stakeholders, the Product Category Analyst ensures evidence-based decision-making that enhances procurement value, supplier performance, and operational efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Product and Spend Data Analysis Procurement Strategy and Tendering Support Bid Evaluation and Adjudication Implementation and Standardization Rollout Supplier Monitoring and Market Intelligence REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Supply Chain, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 2–4 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain, or category management. Healthcare experience preferred. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Data Analysis and reporting Financial skills related to quotes and tenders Knowledge of medical consumables Proven experience of 5 years with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Coupa, etc. Experience with Supply Chain software and tools (ERP, e Sourcing, Procurement platforms) Market Research skills, including competitor and business gap analysis Ability to perform client presentations, liaison, and relationship development Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements All applicants will be considered, with preference given to designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
