Job Description: Parsons is seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will design ground engineering solutions for infrastructure and development projects across Dubai, the UAE, and the Gulf region. We are hiring a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer eager to work on impactful infrastructure projects. With Parsons' extensive experience and your developing engineering skills, your career will advance with opportunities for growth. We need versatile engineers who are enthusiastic, team-oriented, and possess excellent communication, analytical, and management skills. Your responsibilities will include planning and designing earthworks, foundations, and ground engineering for projects such as bridges, railroads, roads, airports, harbors, dams, irrigation, pipelines, tunnels, and power plants. You will analyze projects to ensure geotechnical reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, performing various engineering duties and potentially specializing in geotechnical, municipal/urban, or coastal engineering. Responsibilities: Prepare geotechnical computations and analyses, including soil-structure interaction where required. Create drawings, specifications, and materials for procurement and construction using CAE/CAD tools. Prepare material estimates, surveys, and designs with specifications. Draft requisitions for equipment and materials. Review supplier drawings and assist in bid analyses. Develop specifications, data sheets, and construction documents. Provide guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers. Perform other related duties as needed. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or related field) with 2+ years of experience. Experience in geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics analysis and design. Proficiency with CAD and relevant engineering software. Desired Skills: Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous. Engineer in Training (EIT) or equivalent certification is advantageous. Knowledge of ground investigation scope and interpretation.
