SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Purchaser for Leader in Heavy Lifting and Transport Industry Working at Dubai , UAE Do you enjoy working with a range of people and businesses? As a purchaser for Mammoet you will be developing and maintaining a network of vendors to ensure we can source the best and most cost-effective equipments, tools, resources in line with our business requirements. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Sourcing and managing all aspects of purchasing Analyzing and identifying project requirements Ensuring purchasing flawlessly supports project execution Selecting vendors and negotiating terms Ensuring goods and services are purchased in line with business objectives Create and implement continuous improvement strategies WHAT YOU'LL NEED Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Logistics. A procurement qualification such as CIPS is preferred. 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a technical setting, with evidence of experience in a similar role. Experience in civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports, and mining is ideal. Relevant project management and/or construction organization experience is sought after and will be considered transferable. Expert-level experience in negotiation and professional-level experience in contract management, project management, and purchasing systems. Proven experience in establishing framework agreements with suppliers, effectively functioning as contracts. Fluent proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Working experience in SAP.
