Procurement Manager - Plastics & Polymers

Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to strengthen their procurement function. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and source suppliers for plastic raw materials and polymers. - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency. - Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best deals. - Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and trends. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure uninterrupted material availability. - Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. - Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations. - Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and handle vendor performance evaluations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain in a trading company handling plastic raw materials or polymers. - Familiarity with the plastic raw materials/polymer industry is essential. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. - Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software is a plus.
