Position - Technical Authority (Process) Job Description ROLE/PURPOSEThe Technical Authority of Process Technology is responsible for providing Process Discipline specific guidance on all design and technology matters related to Concept & FEED activities coordination and Front End works during enquiry / projects, ensuring compliance with established programs and procedures.The role also includes initiating and guiding in-house development activities involving guidelines / procedures to strengthen discipline capabilities and undertaking troubleshooting activities during various phases of project.RESPONSIBILITIES • Technical authority / decision maker for the Process related matters. • To Safeguard the Technical Integrity and Quality of Services provided by Process Engineers. • To raise Quality awareness within the Process team and ensure compliance with Engineering Manuals/Procedures. • To ensure Implementation of relevant Best Engineering Practice/ Lessons Learnt and drive for continuous improvements within Process team. • To ensure Compliance with Quality Management procedures and technical requirement objective in all aspects of the Engineering work Performed by Process team. • Checks all project drawings, documentation, calculations, Material Requisitions, technical evaluations, and manpower estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Proposes execution strategy for engineering scope and project associated tasks. • Supports Procurement activities / Vendor pre-qualifications • Supports Engineering Manager in Resource management of Process Engineers. • Supports Engineering Manager on Quality systems, and Development & updating procedures • Supports Engineering Manager on Performance Reviews of Process Engineers. • Attends project progress/technical meetings with Client to report on activities/ resolve technical issues. • Attends design review meetings to provide advice and expertise on Engineering aspects. • Attends Value Engineering Workshops • Compliance in accordance with Company policies & procedures, Pol Skills Required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • B.Sc. in Chemical / Petroleum Engineering. • 15 year’s Engineering experience in the oil and gas industry; covering Concept, FEED, EPC and Troubleshooting activities. • Thorough Technical knowledge of all relevant Process technology used in Oil and Gas Industry • Proven supervisory track record with strong management potential. • Planning and organizing skills. • Influencing skills. • Thorough understanding of all Engineering disciplines. • Knowledge of applicable Engineering software. • Good command of written and spoken English. • Good technical knowledge and skills. • Good Communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
