We have an exciting opportunity for you as General Accountant to join our enthusiastic pre-opening team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina. As a General Accountant you are responsible to assist maintaining a smooth operation within the Finance Department by reviewing payroll reports and conducting internal controls in compliance with all policies, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as: Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow Complete balance sheet reconciliations To support when needed finance sections for Income, AR & AP & GC Support budgeting and forecasting activities Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing and payment Conduct periodic internal audits and assist with external audits Analyze financial data and provide financial insights to management Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures The successful candidate will be hands-on leader with the ability to positively coach and motivate the team to success. Ideally, the candidate would have minimum 3 years experiences in a similar role in a 5 star hotel; able to handle multi-national team; Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. The position required a high organization skill; highly motivated; focus on training and developing staff member; good administration skill.
