HR Senior Advisor
Description
Our client, a global professional services firm, is looking to recruit an HR Senior Advisor. They are also open to considering candidates at the Advisor level. They seek someone with judgment, discretion, and the ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization. This person will be responsible for the full employment lifecycle of employees in the Abu Dhabi office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Employee Relations/General HR: Advise employees of firm policies and procedures. Monitor employment legislation in both onshore and free zone environments and liaise with external employment counsel where needed. Assist with discipline and grievance issues in conjunction with relevant Partners/managers. Review and update policies periodically in line with legislative or firm-related changes, in collaboration with relevant departments. Produce employment documentation (e.g., contracts, change in terms letters, references). Manage all leave processes, including recording absences. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees. Lead fortnightly management meetings. Provide visa and immigration support to PRO. Performance Management & Benefits: Coordinate the annual performance review process for professional staff. Support performance management processes for professional and legal staff as required. Conduct market reviews and advise on salary and bonus processes during annual reviews. Administer employee benefits, including periodic review of entitlements. Recruitment: Manage recruitment of professional and legal staff, liaising with universities and recruitment agencies. Review and update job descriptions with hiring managers. Coordinate internship and work experience placements. Requirements: Strong educational background, preferably with a degree in related fields. 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a corporate environment with significant responsibilities. Experience or interest in gender equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives is a plus. Cross-cultural skills and awareness of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Proven success with mentoring programs. Strong written and oral communication skills. Critical mindset towards data analysis. Ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines. Team-oriented, collaborative, and discreet. Experience with databases and Microsoft Office Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
