Buying & Product Strategy Develop and select seasonal product ranges, ensuring alignment with customer demand, fashion trends, brand strategy, and budget. Collaborate with the Senior Manager – Buying to define pricing, product mix, and sell-through targets. Lead product sourcing from both local and international suppliers, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and sustainability. Build and manage strong vendor relationships, overseeing sampling, prototyping, cost negotiations, and timely deliveries. Define seasonal assortment plans across categories (RTW, outerwear, accessories, etc.), using insights from trend forecasting, sales data, and market analysis. Monitor sales performance and competitive landscape to refine buying strategies and inform future collections. Coordinate with planning and finance teams to establish pricing frameworks and meet gross margin goals. Oversee the end-to-end product development cycle, ensuring alignment with the seasonal critical path. Mentor and support junior buying team members to develop capability and performance within the function. Business Strategy Drive seasonal strategies in line with brand positioning and deliver on Gross Margin Plans. Develop and execute the sourcing roadmap, ensuring alignment with critical path timelines. Negotiate with new and existing suppliers on pricing, payment terms, shipping costs, and training support to optimize supplier relationships and procurement outcomes. Manage OTB (Open to Buy) and repeat purchase budgets in close coordination with the planning team. Monitor key milestones in the critical path and ensure strategic product selection and range building are executed on time. Lead the development and implementation of the seasonal buying calendar. Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to activate key product campaigns and seasonal focuses. Retain and grow existing product categories while identifying opportunities to launch new ones. Conduct customer focus groups and competitive benchmarking to refine the product offer. Performance & Operations Stay current with global fashion trends, particularly in the premium womenswear segment. Analyze and report weekly sales performance at style, category, and business unit levels; take proactive actions to optimize sell-through and adjust production flows. Own and manage TNA (Time and Action) plans to ensure timely delivery. Apply insights from competitor analysis to enhance product assortments and influence future range builds. Create and maintain seasonal product hierarchy and phasing plans for accurate execution. Deliver trend and product training to staff to ensure commercial readiness across business units. Provide informed recommendations to the Senior Manager – Buying based on buying feedback reports and market performance. Demonstrate strong team leadership, a solution-focused mindset, and advanced analytical skills to drive commercial results. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion, Textile, or Business Management (preferred). Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in buying, with at least 2 years in a senior role within a premium womenswear fashion environment. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven track record in supplier management, product lifecycle planning, and delivering commercial results. #J-18808-Ljbffr
