Job Description: Parsons is seeking a talented Junior Architectural Designer to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering architectural designs for various projects for both private and public sector clients across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in UAE design codes and regulations, especially those established by local ministries and authorities such as DM, Trakhees, DDA, DEWA, FEWA, and other municipal offices. As a Junior Architect, you will work closely with senior architects and project managers to assist in design, planning, and execution of projects. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential. Proactivity, organization, and multitasking capabilities are also required. What You'll Be Doing: Assist senior architects in developing architectural designs and plans. Prepare detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D models using architectural software. Participate in site visits and client meetings to gather project requirements. Prepare and submit drawings to local authorities for building permits, ensuring compliance with regulations. Support the preparation of project presentations and documentation. Collaborate with project teams to meet milestones. Maintain organized project files and documentation. Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and DEWA codes. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to integrate design with technical and practical aspects. Utilize BIM methodologies and Revit software for accurate and coordinated designs. Coordinate all sub-consultant packages and disciplines within the organization. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Minimum of 2 years of architectural experience in a reputable UAE firm. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, ACC or similar software, and familiarity with BIM practices. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results under deadlines. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience in preparing submission packages for NOC from authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and RTA is highly desirable.
