Senior Technical Architect - Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud

Presales Solution Engineering: Lead discovery workshops, craft end-to-end solution architecture, effort estimates, and So W inputs. Build POCs and demo assets across Journey Builder, Personalization, Einstein 1 Studio, and Data Cloud activation pipelines. Present architecture to C-level and IT buyers, respond to RFPs and security reviews. Translate business KPIs into measurable solution value and produce presales collateral (decks, diagrams, sizing sheets). 2. Delivery Architecture & Governance: Hand off signed designs to delivery teams and run architecture onboarding sessions. Translate signed designs into sprint-ready epics; run architecture kick-offs and governance checkpoints with scrum teams. Define data models, identity resolution rules, encryption, consent, and governance patterns in Data Cloud. Oversee code reviews (AMPscript, SSJS, SQL), performance tuning, CI/CD, and release gates. Own the technical risk log and steward architecture decisions during sprints. 3. Practice & People Leadership: Mentor consultants, create reusable accelerators and reference patterns. Contribute to thought leadership blogs/webinars and support hiring interviews. Coordinate with sales on pipeline forecasting. Qualifications: 1. Must Have: 8+ years on the Salesforce platform, including 5+ with Marketing Cloud and at least 2 years architecting Data Cloud/CDP solutions. Proficiency in AMP Script, SSJS, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, data modeling, calculated insights, activation targets, API-based ingestion, and middleware integration. Certifications: Marketing Cloud Admin, Developer, and Consultant; Data Cloud Consultant and Architect certifications are highly desirable. Consultative skills: comfortable running whiteboard sessions, scoping in Jira, writing So Ws, and presenting to executives. Soft skills: effective storytelling, multitasking, coaching junior team members, and thriving in a fast-paced GCC market. 2. Nice to Have: Arabic/English bilingual proficiency. Experience with retail, CPG, or pharma use cases in the region. Knowledge of UAE PDPL and GDPR compliance patterns. Exposure to AI-driven personalization (Einstein, external ML models).
