Description
Prepare and bake a range of products, including artisan breads, pastries, cookies, and cakes, following standardised recipes and procedures. Maintain daily production schedules to ensure adequate supply to outlets while minimising waste. Ensure all baked goods meet Joud Coffee’s quality, freshness, and presentation standards. Monitor inventory of baking supplies and ingredients; communicate needs to the supervisor for timely procurement. Operate and maintain baking equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.) carefully and according to safety standards. Follow food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and local municipality guidelines. Assist in developing and testing new recipes in line with Joud Coffee’s seasonal and innovation plans. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and storage areas. Collaborate with the culinary and operations team to coordinate deliveries and meet outlet needs.
