About The Role We are seeking a Senior Director with approximately 15+ years of experience for our Middle East Strategic Communications practice based in the UAE. As a capital markets expert, you will collaborate with our global network on major publicly listed and private companies worldwide, providing strategic communications services such as equity story development, IPOs, restructurings, M&A transactions, crisis management, media relations, ESG, stewardship, governance, industry research, and analysis. The role involves shaping client narratives and influencing how major corporate news reaches capital market audiences, including investors, financial media, analysts, etc. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be results-oriented, mature, capable of multitasking, and eager to learn and adopt new communication approaches. What You’ll Do Serve as a trusted advisor influencing client strategies in financial and transaction communications and investor relations. Develop client strategies to create competitive advantages amid changing market conditions. Understand key business drivers and tailor communication strategies accordingly. Create complex financial communications programs and present recommendations based on analytics, research, and strategic thinking. Collaborate with senior management to identify client needs and coordinate with other divisions. Devise strategies for corporate and financial communications, investor relations, and media engagement. Drive new business initiatives through research, proposals, and presentations. Supervise and mentor junior staff. Contribute strategically in meetings and stay updated on industry trends and client issues. What You Will Need to Succeed University degree or higher. 15+ years of relevant experience in financial communications, investor relations, capital markets, or equity research, preferably in consultancy. Strong financial acumen and understanding of how strategy impacts performance. Knowledge of buy-side and sell-side analysts and business media. Creative, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus. Interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and a desire for continuous learning.
