Head of EA / Head of IT

A well-established company in Dubai, committed to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance business operations and customer experience. Shape and implement a scalable, business-aligned enterprise architecture strategy Act as a strategic partner to the CTO - fluidly operating across Infrastructure, Applications, and Security. Lead major infrastructure initiatives including network modernisation, data centers, backup systems, and telecoms. Support transformation of enterprise applications, such as Salesforce, SAP S/4 HANA, etc. Align enterprise architecture with business requirements and stakeholder input - not in silos, but as an integrated technology strategy. Ensure security is embedded across all initiatives, with strong foundational knowledge of Zero Trust and secure architecture principles. Translate the CTO's strategic vision into executable architectural decisions and roadmaps. Mentor future architects and gradually build the internal EA capability. 15+ years in technology roles with strong architectural accountability. Proven ability to work hands-on across infra or applications while understanding and collaborating across the broader technology landscape. Strong familiarity with SAP Retail and enterprise applications, Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure, and Cybersecurity. High learning agility - able to move between domains and ramp up quickly. Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders to influence, challenge, and shape solutions. Low-ego, collaborative leader who is passionate about delivering impact and building something meaningful.
