We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for a talented Land Surveyor to join our team! In this role, you will perform land/field surveys and geodetic inspections on sites. What You'll Be Doing: Review technical drawings and project documentation relevant to ongoing works. Conduct land and field surveys, perform geodetic calculations, and carry out structural inspections. Collaborate with clients and contractors to define and verify project-specific survey requirements. Ensure survey tasks are completed on time and within budget and man-hours. Verify setting-out and elevation levels; inspect and safeguard the positioning of underground and surface utilities. Create supporting field sketches and maintain comprehensive survey records, including field books, sketches, and calculations. Provide quantity measurements of completed work when needed. Adhere to and promote on-site safety protocols. Support the development of 'as-built' drawings. Engage in site health and safety initiatives as directed by the Resident Engineer and Safety Representative. Perform additional duties related to the role as required. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience on infrastructure and road/bridge projects. Proficiency with CAD, survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of construction sequences and industry procedures.
