Senior System Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Product & Engineering Department at our office in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Wireless Industry and should be passionate about developing and optimizing systems to improve performance and security. The Senior Systems Engineer will work as part of a team and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that support our products and services. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure systems that support our products and services. Optimize the Linux OS for performance and security, and fine-tune the kernel and OS settings as required. Manage virtualization platforms such as KVM, VMWare, Hyper-V, and Open Stack. Configure and manage TCP/IP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, GTP protocols. Work with cluster technologies such as DRBD, Pacemaker, HAProxy, Galera, and other related technologies. Configure and manage webserver technologies such as NGINX, Apache, Tomcat, and related technologies. Configure and manage database technologies such as My SQL, Maria DB, Mongo DB, and other related technologies. Develop and maintain automation and configuration management software using bash scripting, python, perl, and other related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency. Continuously monitor and improve systems performance and security to ensure the highest level of reliability and availability in the Wireless Industry. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Excellent knowledge of Linux OS Administration, especially Redhat, Centos. Experience on AWS, GCP, and MS Azure. Experience in automation and configuration management software such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Passion for developing and optimizing systems in the Wireless Industry. Additional Requirements: Must be based in UAE. Must have excellent Team player and Interpersonal skills.
