Bookkeeper Dubai

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our innovative team in Dubai. As a key player in our finance department, you'll have the opportunity to maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts, and ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to support Exelot’s financial integrity and success. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for Exelot, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Record and reconcile daily transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review. Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and identify discrepancies. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax preparations. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to support financial planning. Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations, preparing and filing tax returns as required. Provide support to the finance team with budgeting and financial analysis tasks. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or e-commerce industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with VAT regulations and tax compliance in the UAE is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with financial analysis and reporting. Knowledge of ERP systems and financial management software. Familiarity with international financial regulations and compliance.
