Job Description As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager at Deriv, you’ll be based in our bustling office in Dubai’s Business Bay. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our SOC, ensuring the security and integrity of Deriv’s digital assets across the globe. Your challenges and mission Shape the future of our SOC by establishing and executing a comprehensive SOC strategy that identifies, prevents, detects, and responds to complex cyber threats. Build a dream team by recruiting, mentoring, and retaining talented SOC engineers and security analysts. Master the tools of the trade by managing, maintaining, and possibly developing our own security tools and technologies. Design for resilience by implementing and continuously improving security incident management processes to minimize the impact of security incidents on the business. Requirements 13+ years of work experience with over 5 years in SOC management. Deep knowledge of cybersecurity operations. Technical proficiency in SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and threat intelligence platforms. Ability to maintain composure and lead the team effectively during security incidents. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication skills. A passion for continuous learning in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
