Senior Sales Associate
Description
Position Objective: The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to the sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience, in addition to performing various operational duties assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product. Convert window shoppers into buyers. Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales. Serve as a role model for other Sales Associates in sales achievement and service. Educate customers about product features, advantages, benefits, materials, and care instructions. Maintain strong knowledge of inventory and promotions to communicate effectively with customers. Follow the company's selling guidelines (GUEST – Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank). Stay updated on various brands within the group for suggestive selling. Supervise & Lead: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to entry-level sales associates. Support new team members in the store. Track completion of learning programs for all staff. Lead by example with excellent customer service and sales techniques. Assist in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Monitor and give feedback to entry-level sales associates to improve sales techniques. Collaborate with the store manager to implement and enforce policies. Grooming / Attitude / Knowledge: Must be presentable and well-groomed at all times. Flexible to work extended hours during sales periods. Possess up-to-date product knowledge and ensure minimal stock loss. Merchandise: Ensure all stock is displayed attractively and according to layout standards. Follow visual merchandising guidelines and maintain stock norms, especially on clearance. Record inventory inward/outward and maintain reports. Process: Handle POS/billing efficiently, with access to systems like SIOCS, Zebra, Petty Cash, etc. Tally cash at the beginning and end of shifts. Assist in inventory management and stock counts. Achieve and exceed individual sales targets by engaging with customers. Process receipts, refunds, and payments accurately. Stay informed on fashion trends, designers, and brands. Maintain store security awareness and adhere to SOP and loss prevention policies. Maintain confidentiality of sales data. Replenish and re-merchandise stock regularly to ensure product availability. Desired Qualification: The ideal Senior Sales Associate should have a bachelor's degree, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and 3-5 years of sales experience in retail to contribute to a welcoming customer experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
