Job Description: Resident Engineer (Roads & Bridges) Dubai, UAE Parsons is seeking a talented Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will manage the construction supervision of roads and infrastructure projects. What You'll Be Doing: Manage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management, and project closeout, monitoring progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Document and address scope changes. Coordinate with authorities and agencies for approvals and project handover. Interface with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements and deliverables. Review work to ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and procedures, and maintain quality standards. Review and approve change orders, notifying relevant parties of changes. Manage client expectations and provide periodic project updates. Liaise with authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and handover. Ensure Parsons' rights and obligations are fulfilled. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 15 years of postgraduate experience in supervision and construction management of major roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects, preferably within the GCC region. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with relevant standards and codes. Proficiency in computer skills and related software.
