As the Tech Lead , you will own the technical vision and turn technical requirements into a live product. Collaborate directly with engineers, engineering directors, CTO, and other tech leads to transform ambitious prototypes into a reliable product used by brands like Grubhub, Booking, Dropbox & Uber. Responsibilities What you’ll do 50% : Build critical components—write Python, design APIs, fine-tune LLMs, create evaluation harnesses, and deploy to production. 25% : Architect and scale GPU clusters on GCP (Vertex AI / GKE / Cloud Run), monitor costs, latency, reliability, and own the on-call duties. 15% : Collaborate with backend and front-end engineers to integrate RAG pipelines into ticketing, voice, and analytics systems. 10% : Gather requirements from CX leads, demo new features to executives and customers, and document impact. Requirements What makes you a great fit: 7-10 years building production ML/backend systems, including 2+ years leading while coding. Expertise in Python; solid experience with Fast API, g RPC, Postgres, pub/sub. Knowledge in ML and Data Science. Proven experience deploying and tuning open-source LLMs (Deep Seek, Llama) on GPUs. Fluency with at least one agent framework (preferably ADK) and RAG pipelines. Ability to translate business problems into shipped ML products and communicate results clearly. Bonus: Dev Ops skills, multimodal pipelines, relevant prior experience. Working conditions Remote-first environment with flexible hours. Regular off-sites and monthly virtual game nights.
