Senior Conservation Engineer

Guarantee the protection of the decorations and architectural finishes. Guarantee the respect of the prescription of the Conservation Management. Assess the condition of selected bearing vertical walls, in doubt to be kept. Coordinate and lead the contractor’s skilled and unskilled laborers. Support the Director of the Abu Dhabi Branch in the management of the assignment and in the liaison with the AD Department of Culture and Tourism. QUALIFICATION: Education: Master's Degree in Engineering, Master's Degree in Conservation/Structural Consolidation of Architectural Heritage. Qualifications: Conservation Engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in the design of heritage structures, both masonry and reinforced concrete structures. At least 5 years of works supervision as Resident Engineer for both masonry and reinforced concrete structures. Experienced in structural and material repair and rehabilitation techniques. Experienced in structural health assessment procedures. Experienced in reinforced concrete treatment systems, chemical salt extraction, and cathodic protection. Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluent in reporting in English. Good knowledge of main software, such as Windows Office, AUTOCAD, In Design, Photoshop, etc. Required Documents: Motivation Letter CV including current residence information Reference letters and contacts SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE / EXPÉRIENCE SPÉCIFIQUE: - Self-motivated, independent, proactive, and deeply passionate about heritage conservation.
