Cleaning Supervisor
Description
The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the activities of the cleaning staff to ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. This role may be based in a firm, hotel, or residential building and requires effective supervision, organization, and leadership skills. Department: Operations Reporting to: Facility Manager Key Responsibilities Establish and implement cleaning standards and procedures, ensuring all staff adhere to these guidelines. Coach and develop cleaning staff, providing training and support as needed. Schedule and assign specific duties and roles to cleaners, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of cleaning equipment to identify wear and tear and request replacements as needed. Monitor and control the usage of cleaning materials to minimize waste and prevent misuse. Provide assistance to cleaning staff to address challenges and ensure smooth task execution. Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained to meet client satisfaction and organizational requirements. Continuously monitor cleaning standards and address any deviations to maintain quality service. Skills Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills. Proactive approach to work and leadership. Proven experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning activities. Ability to monitor and maintain hygiene standards in line with client and organizational expectations. Approachable and capable of fostering a positive working relationship with staff.
