Primary Responsibilities Conduct rapid assessments and initiate treatment for patients with diverse emergency medical conditions Perform necessary life-saving procedures and interventions within established protocols Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Utilize electronic medical records to maintain accurate documentation of patient care Participate in departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement and patient safety Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatments Essential Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school Graduation from an ACGME-accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine Current board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine Active medical license in the state of practice Prior experience in an emergency medicine setting is preferred Strong ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Interest in participating in ongoing education and training in emergency medicine We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
