QA/QC Inspector (E&I) - Oilservv
Description
Oilservv is looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector (E&I) to carry out inspection and quality control activities related to electrical and instrumentation works across oil & gas and EPC projects. The role ensures all installations and testing comply with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards, while providing technical support to site execution teams and interfacing with client representatives. Key Responsibilities Perform inspection and verification of electrical and instrumentation works, including cabling, terminations, earthing, lighting, panels, MCCs, field instruments, and control systems. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs, and international codes. Witness electrical testing activities such as insulation resistance, continuity, hi-pot, loop checking, calibration, and functional testing of systems. Monitor subcontractor works and ensure compliance with approved QA/QC procedures. Review vendor and subcontractor quality documents, FAT/SAT reports, and material certificates. Raise and follow up on NCRs, site observations, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented. Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, checklists, and quality records for client approval. Support QA/QC documentation team in compiling final dossiers and handover packages. Coordinate with client QA/QC and construction teams to resolve site quality issues. Ensure safety and quality requirements are always met during execution. Mandatory Requirements Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum 5–8 years’ experience as a QA/QC Inspector in E&I within oil & gas/EPC projects. Strong knowledge of codes and standards: IEC, IEEE, NEC, ISA, ASTM, and client-specific standards (e.g., Aramco/ADNOC). Certifications such as ISO 9001: QMS, Comp Ex, or equivalent preferred. Hands-on experience in FAT/SAT, loop checks, and pre-commissioning inspections. Strong technical expertise in electrical and instrumentation inspection. Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications. Good reporting and documentation skills. Proactive in identifying and resolving quality-related issues. Strong coordination and communication skills with client and contractor teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
