Job description
• Plan and administer proper warehouse operations
• Manage warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees
• Must be keen to follow up on work results
• Oversee operations of warehouse involving both incoming and outgoing inventory
• Ensuring warehouse operations and stocks are safeguarded by implementing security procedures and protocols.
• Proper safety and health requirements for the warehouse environment
• Periodic physical cycle counts and reconciling with system of warehouse inventory
• Must be accountable for the stock accuracy and ensure all products are delivered to outlets within the given timeline
• Must maintain a proper maintenance program for equipment within the warehouse
• Able to propose and recommend improvements to improve efficiency
• Ensure that the training, development and motivation of staff in the stores is implemented as well as coach and mentor entire team to ensure that all staff are encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution
• To ensure all HOD's of respective departments work together to support retail demands
Skills
• Proper leadership skills to manage a pool of warehouse personnel
• Proven organization and able to be a systematic thinking
• Able to motivate their staff and have analytical skills
• Strong budget management
Requirement
• Must have SAP knowledge
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
• Dynamic personality with strong communication, organization, problems solving, follow up and interpersonal skill
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Critical thinking and effective problem solving skills are required
