Job Description About Wynn Al Marjan Island: On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf. Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Head of Wigs, Hair, and Makeup to join the resort’s Entertainment Administration team. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the wigs, hair, and makeup team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with designers and directors to ensure the artistic integrity of all wigs, hair, and makeup looks. Oversee the preparation, styling, and maintenance of wigs and makeup for each performance. Ensure all wigs and makeup are maintained to the highest standards and repaired or replaced as needed. Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, coordinating with the Wardrobe Administrator. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including bibles for each look and performer. Train performers in proper application and maintenance of wigs and makeup. Support PR, Marketing, and special events with appropriate hair and makeup services. Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned. About You Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as a wig and hair technician or a similar position in a wardrobe department for a large‑scale theatrical or production show. Experience with teaching performers how to apply their wigs. Experience with cutting, dyeing, setting, blocking and styling real hair wigs. Experience with fitting, altering and repairing full lace cap or lace front wigs. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as a make‑up technician or a similar position in a wardrobe department for a large‑scale theatrical or production show. Experience with and knowledge of application techniques and products for different types of makeup applications such as theatrical makeup, beauty makeup, etc. Experience with applying airbrush body makeup.
