The Opportunity The Senior Specialist – Enterprise Tooling will serve as the primary owner of the Service Now platform, responsible for its implementation, governance, optimization, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define platform requirements, streamline workflows, elevate IT service management capabilities, and enable enterprise‑wide process transformation. This position is hands‑on and requires proven experience as a Service Now ITSM Developer.The individual will drive platform enhancements, enable automation, ensure CMDB integrity, foster Agile/Dev Ops practices, and lead the strategic uplift of Service Now as a key enterprise system of interaction. Your Key Responsibilities Service Now Ownership & Platform Management Act as the primary owner and point of contact for the Service Now platform across the organization. Oversee Service Now configuration, customization, development, and integrations with other enterprise systems. Manage platform upgrades, patches, migrations, and overall lifecycle to ensure stability, security, and performance. Monitor platform KPIs, performance, compliance, and security posture; implement improvement plans where required. Strategy, Governance & Best Practices Establish, maintain, and enforce governance, development standards, and best practices for the Service Now platform. Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to define roadmaps, priorities, and platform requirements. Ensure strong alignment between business needs and technical solutions, translating requirements into actionable Service Now deliverables. Conduct in‑depth assessments of Service Now capabilities to inform solution design, process enhancements, and strategic decisions. ITSM, CMDB & Process Optimization Lead the design, development, and deployment of core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, etc.). Manage and optimize CMDB data structures, relationships, data quality, and workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability. Engage with end‑users to gather feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive solution enhancements. Support Agile and Dev Ops initiatives through Service Now Agile, Dev Ops, and related modules. Continuous Improvement & Change Enablement Facilitate process improvement workshops using Lean and Six Sigma principles. Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and drive a data‑driven continuous improvement culture. Promote digital literacy by delivering training, documentation, and user support initiatives. Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Engagement Lead and mentor a team of Service Now professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture. Work closely with IT, compliance, security, and business units to implement scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise tooling solutions. Identify risks, issues, and dependencies across Service Now initiatives and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Service Management / IT Service Delivery. Mandatory: Hands‑on experience as a Service Now ITSM Developer, including design, development, and deployment across ITSM modules. Proven experience as a Service Now administrator, developer, and platform owner. Deep understanding of ITSM processes, IT governance frameworks, operational risk management, and IT best practices. Strong technical skills including scripting, workflow design, integrations, and platform customization. Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with local and global teams. Strong business acumen with a proactive, practical mindset and ability to operate in fast‑paced environments. Certifications in Service Now Administration, ITSM, ITIL, Dev Ops, Six Sigma, COBIT, or related fields. Experience facilitating process optimization initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Experience in implementing Agile/Dev Ops workflows within Service Now.
