Digital Release Governance – Assistant Manager (RBG Central Squad, Retail Banking Group) Join to apply for the Digital Release Governance – Assistant Manager role at Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group. Responsibilities & Qualifications Introduce and evolve the ‘Release Management’ framework and process that governs all production releases in the RBG Digital space, in collaboration with the Agile Coaches, Architect team and other governance functions (e.g. Business Governance, risk, compliance, CXCG etc.) The Release Management framework incorporates to ensure release management processes evident the appropriate artifacts and/or sign-offs to ensure alignment to Mashreq’s technology stack, architectural principles and digital, business and risk governance Implementing policies, processes and tools that will enforce proactive adherence and governance to the Release Management framework Ensure controls are in line with bank policies and local regulatory requirements, where all deployments and evidences are uploaded and constantly up to date The incumbent needs to be able to build consensus, be well versed with digital studio and agile methodologies Responsible for implementing a framework which will ensure proper controls and governance are in place prior to release new feature and digital capabilities to our customers and staff Tools implementation and training throughout RBG Digital on the framework as well as continuously improve the best practices Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. CRB, Business Governance, risk, compliance, CXCG etc.) to continuous enhance the framework and to incorporate new regulatory requirements Ensure that any production releases that are deviating from the standard requirements are having exceptional approvals which are documented and includes a clear mitigation plan A post graduate degree with 3+ years in diverse banking departments, preferably with diversified exposure gained from different experiences of different operational functions/units. Focused mindset on governance, compliance and controls Understand technical/digital solution and implication. Functional and technology knowledge on major banking applications Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations Deep understanding of change management practices, particularly stakeholder analysis, workforce readiness and leadership communications. Interpersonal skills with good decision making and communication skills with multi-tasking capabilities. Coordination and Management skills.
