Summary As a Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all functions of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Manage and coordinate housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance. Oversee the budget and expenses of the housekeeping department, ensuring cost-effective operations. Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with regulations. Coordinate with other departments to meet guests' needs and maintain a positive guest experience. Handle any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices to improve housekeeping operations. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or in a similar role. Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and health and safety standards. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage a diverse team and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field is preferred.
