Production Planning Controller

We are currently recruiting for an Planning Controller for our client to be based out of their Dubai office. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day workload and deliverables for assigned team members. Work with the production team to develop a detailed workflow plan for task execution in line with the overall production plan. Ensure all the planned work is packaged, segregated into daily activities and provided to production. Ensure visibility of daily workload progress and update WO status to indicate shortages of materials/resources. Review Technical Documents and understand what Tools, Materials and GSE are required to accomplish the maintenance task. Capture requirements in the ERP system to allow for future planning. Review Technical documents and understand the work intent and steps required to execute it. Attribute manhours to each step as required. Produce a detailed man-hours (MH) estimate for each assigned event to support the workflow and manpower planning process. Execute Continuous Improvement Projects as assigned. Requirements 7+ years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in Production Planning or an equivalent role. Extensive knowledge of aircraft/engine maintenance, work scoping, and job instruction authoring. Thorough understanding of OEM guidelines, Airworthiness regulations, and industry standards. Experience in reviewing workpacks for Shop floor execution. Proficiency in Aircraft/Engine Maintenance Task and Manpower Planning and Scheduling. Experience with ERP systems (IFS or similar) for task card management and shop floor planning. Experience with analysing maintenance data and summarising it to deliver management insights. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roles. Lean/Six Sigma or other project management Experience.
