When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means. You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the reservations department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. The GSO - Reservations is responsible for assisting the Director of Reservations in managing the Reservations Department and working closely with Marketing and Sales and other relevant Rooms Departments to maximize Room Yield through Inventory Control while delivering exceptional customer service in line with Hyatt’s Brand Standards. Qualifications Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Reservations Agent or Assistant in either Reservation or Front Office in larger operations.
