Procurement Engineer

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in either MEP, interior design, or civil engineering to be considered for the role.Identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for ID/Fit-out Identify and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for ID/fit-out materials and servicesincluding but not limited to flooring, partitions, ceilings, joinery, and other fit-out components Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to meet project schedules and specifications Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or timelines Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, andproject requirements Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, quality standards,and cost-efficiency Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of materials to project sites Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industrystandards.Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project needs.Bachelor’s degree in any discipline . A relevant procurement/supply chain certification such as CIPS is an added advantage.Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years focused on Fitout materials, MEP materials and services procurement for construction projects Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, logistics and finance Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
