Librarian

Librarian - Abu Dhabi, UAEWe are currently seeking a qualified, experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources and providing assistance to library users.Responsibilities: - Organize and manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and multimedia materials- Catalogue new materials using the Library of Congress classification system- Assist library users in finding and checking out materials- Provide reference services and answer inquiries from library users- Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy within the community- Maintain accurate records of library circulation, inventory, and budget- Train and supervise library staff members- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in librarianship Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Librarian- Fluent in Malayalam language (preferred)- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team This is a full-time position with no English language requirement. We offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates from outside of the UAE. Accommodation is not provided.
