Your Responsibilities We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) starting September 2025. We seek someone who shares our vision of excellence in education and is committed to making a difference in the lives of students and staff. Key Activities & Responsibilities: Conducting introductory and in-depth courses in the areas of software engineering. Planning and implementing research projects, including publication activities. Advising and supervising students. Grading student work and supervising seminars, projects, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses. Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions to enhance networking at our Dubai location. Participating in administrative activities and committee work. Advising prospective students. Your Profile Several years of teaching experience at universities in the field of Software Engineering or related subjects. Ability to teach courses in business-related areas is an advantage. Proficiency in teaching courses in English; knowledge of German is an advantage. Research and publication activities are desirable. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Organizational skills and eagerness to contribute to the university's success and growth. Requirements for Professorship: Completed university studies. Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work, such as an outstanding doctorate or significant scientific publications. At least three years of qualified professional experience in the field, with two years outside of a university setting.
