POSITION SUMMARY Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor security systems including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Lock property entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, contact EMS, or administer first aid/CPR as needed. Assist guests and employees during emergency situations. Notify appropriate personnel in case of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuse guest and employee disturbances. Call for outside assistance if necessary. Complete incident reports for all Security and Loss Prevention incidents. Handle interruptions and complaints, resolve safety hazards, and escort unwelcome persons from the property without disrupting operations. Report vehicle accidents or thefts and call for assistance using proper code responses. Complete shift summaries and daily activity reports. Maintain confidentiality of all security and property reports, releasing information only to authorized individuals. Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally, preparing accurate written documents. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and adhere to quality standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; respond quickly to work situations. Read and verify information in various formats. Inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects. Use computers and point of sale systems efficiently. Move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided, and over 75 pounds with assistance. Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and navigating confined or uneven spaces. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Related Work Experience: No prior experience required. Supervisory Experience: None.
