Join to apply for the Senior Engineer Piping & Layout role at Global Projects Services AGJoin to apply for the Senior Engineer Piping & Layout role at Global Projects Services AGCompany: Saipem Project: HUB Abu Dhabi UAEJob Title: Senior Engineer Piping & Layout Location: Abu Dhabi UAEAbout Us Saipem is a global leader in engineering services for the design, construction and operation of complex infrastructures and plants in the energy sector, both offshore and onshore.With our five business lines - Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions - we are One Company present in around 60 countries with over 30,000 employees of more than 130 nationalities, providing the world the innovative excellence of our people and our partners for over 65 years.Job Description And Requirements Mission Perform technical tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, related with design, verification or study activities Interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem Tasks Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements Tasks Include A - Development Technology know how and Commercial support B - Feasibility C - Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development Bill of material Plot plan lay out proposal Support lead to define man hour and cost estimate D - Project Execution E nsure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projects Ensure the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of project quality requirements and contractual obligations Analyse technical documents (e.g. specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies requiredand the potential risks Seek solutions which can bring overall savings to the project Estimate quantities or validate estimation done by other specialist of the team Check all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings underresponsibility Write the Piping and Layout methodologies / Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specificdesign guidelines Analyse project technical documents to validate consistency between the budget, resources and means allocated for thework completion and the targets to be met Organize the work of the team under responsibility Define and follow-up the planning of resources mobilization Monitor and report actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours anddelivered documents Control the input data for team activities and check/review all documents issued by the team Attend to internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings Provide technical support to Project group Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work Supervise the writing of specifications and requisitions as well as technical bid evaluations Inform on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen technical or financial or delay risk Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project E - Construction and start up Participate to test circuit verification Field engineering during construction activities How To Apply If you are ready to take on this challenging role and contribute to the success of Saipem's projects, please submit your CV in English by clicking on the link below.Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Human Resources Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Global Projects Services AG by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Piping Engineer” roles.Senior Engineer, Piping (Eng.
