About Our Client We are working with a prestigious sovereign wealth fund based in Abu Dhabi who are seeking to hire a research associate to join their global research and public markets team, with a focus on the real estate sector. Job Responsibilities Lead the application of data science, machine learning, and AI in the real estate department. Summarize global investment themes. Analyze major trends impacting property sectors such as office, industrial, retail, residential, hotel, senior housing, data centers, self-storage, and proptech. Interpret third-party forecasts of property markets and assist in forming investment views on markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Support senior colleagues in developing presentations for senior management and investment professionals. Maintain the department's database of reports, market data, and forecasts, managing subscriptions as needed. Track research variables in economics, capital markets, space markets, and real estate performance globally. Use economic and market analysis to support investment recommendations. Communicate technical ideas clearly to non-technical audiences. Present research findings and recommendations within the department. Candidate Profile An undergraduate degree is required; postgraduate qualifications and CFA are a plus. Relevant experience in investment management, consulting, real estate research, development, or investment banking is required. Current employment in the United States is required. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point is required; knowledge of Bloomberg is preferred. Strong math skills and advanced knowledge of SQL, with knowledge of R or Python, are required. Interest and experience in data science, machine learning, and AI are essential.
