Made for Trade, DMCC is proud to sustain and grow Dubai’s position as the place to be for global trade today and long into the future.Role Summary: The Manager Precious Metals is responsible for identifying business initiatives to support the growth of Dubai as a precious metals trading hub. This role would ensure Dubai’s participation in the precious metals market is appropriately promoted and meets all necessary conditions for growing in trade volumes and economic value to Dubai.Key Responsibilities: Working together with the Senior Director - Precious Metals & Stones, roll out projects related to the Federal Gold Trading Platform, Federal Gold Database, Emirates Good Delivery and any other projects that may arise.Contribute towards Precious Metals & Stones budgeted net income target by leading business development efforts to identify, analyze, recommend and implement revenue generating opportunities for precious metals.Ensure Dubai’s trade regulatory practices meet international benchmarks for best practices whilst providing a competitive environment for traders to find ease of doing Precious Metals business in Dubai. Review and enhance market regulation affecting gold trading practices.Support the Senior Director - Precious Metals & Stones in rolling out additional responsible sourcing initiatives for gold refineries and other gold market participants to increase membership of these products.Lead initiatives and set the direction to bring new revenue streams and enhance existing revenue streams in precious metals.Grow existing initiatives such as Gold Vault, UAE Bullion Coins, Dubai Good Delivery and other certification products such that revenues and exposure to DMCC is maximized.Work with multi-discipline teams to deliver on key projects.
