Contracts + Claims Manager (MRICS) - Dubai Contracts + Claims Manager (MRICS) - Dubai CONTRACTS + CLAIMS MANAGER (MRICS) - DUBAIINTRODUCTION: UN!Q Project Solutions, a 10-year-old business' with circa 110+ staff across the KSA, UAE, and India and already having secured a large order book of projects in the UAE for 2025 and beyond, is looking to strengthen its Contract Management for delivery across our portfolio of Hospitality and Residential projects within the Emirates.Reporting to the Associate Director - Cost Management (Post Contract), the selected candidate will be expected to deliver best-in-class Contract Management service solutions. Whereby the chosen candidate will be responsible for managing multiple Contract Management (Post Contract) remits from the Dubai site/head offices, they must have demonstratable previous experience of successful Contract Management delivery of major Middle East projects, as these individuals will be responsible for providing best-in-class service solutions to our valued partners, thereby maintaining UN!Qs has a growing reputation in the market.Additionally, as MRICS members the chosen candidate will also be expected to mentor, train and develop our talented Quantity Surveyors working towards their RICS APC, working with our Associate Director - Cost Management, to ensure the highest professional standards are maintained across the entire business.While these opportunities are open to all MRICS candidates in the GCC region, we would also like to encourage suitable candidates from the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia or New Zealand looking for their first overseas posting. But wishing to work for a smaller more personable business and team that will afford you the opportunity for career growth with full management support and guidance.RESPONSIBILITIES (As applicable to the specific role): Administer the terms of the Building Contract (FIDICs), including claims defence Visit the Site regularly to review progress and quality with the Contractor Assess, recommend and draft the Engineers' notices (NCRs, EIs, RFIs, Contract Notices, Letters etc.)Manage document register to ensure all notices are administered in accordance with the timeline provisions of the contract Record formal or informal meetings attended by the Consultant for the file, particularly where actions are required to follow.Tendering and Procurement strategy and implementation for Provisional Sums and Prime Costs items Change Management through the construction phase to determine the contractual validity of variations against the Contract Agreement Support the Engineer and Project Manager with any dispute resolution and avoidance/mitigation plans as necessary. Provide Contractual analysis and recommendations Advise on Client liability regarding any claims from the Contractor Provide contractual updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress and ensure continuous engagement and communication until satisfactory project completion Inspect the quality of site management and organisation of the Principal Contractor and the other contractors undertaking the Project Assess whether completion has been achieved, then issue or recommend the issue of the certificate of completion or similar. Prepare and manage schedules listing any outstanding or defective work as and when required Advise the Client of their obligations with respect to certification of completion of the Project Advise on the Contractor’s entitlement to loss and expense. Analyse and report on the Contractor’s loss and expense claim(s)Advise on the Contractor’s entitlement to extensions of time.
