Field Software Service Engineer - Implementation and Application Support - Angola Join us to apply for the Field Software Service Engineer - Implementation and Application Support - Angola role at Giesecke+Devrient.This role involves implementing software packages at customer sites, troubleshooting customer software issues for G+D SWS products, and ensuring issues are resolved within SLA times, providing onsite assistance as needed.Responsibilities include: Document issues in G+D’s tracking system Set up test environments to replicate issues Troubleshoot and escalate issues to R&D when necessary Prepare reports for customers Maintain excellent customer relationships Lead implementation activities and provide training Create support and training documentation Technical Skills required: Experience with IBM Web Sphere, Jboss EAP, IISApplication deployment in Java EE environments Understanding of JDBC, JMS, .NET application deployment Database integration (MS SQL, Oracle), LDAP, Core Banking Networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, SSL, TCP, UDP, FTP, SFTP, IP)SQL and database administration skills Job Requirements: Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years support experience Experience in banking or warehousing industry is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, and work under pressure Professional demeanor and sound judgment Flexibility to work long hours as needed Additional details: Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and Consulting G+D is committed to security and innovation in digital and physical currencies, with a global presence.
